It's hot out there - and when they aren't running around like crazy dogs, they are trying to keep cool. Usually it's in the shady grass, but today Mark was working in the driveway, so they had to lay on the patio and keep an eye on what he was doing.

Such pretty dogs! I love the little fuzzy coats. Do you keep them a little fuzzy on purpose? I know most poodles are shaved to the skin, but I like a little bit of fur left on them.
Hi Lynne - we have them trimmed at about 1" - Kobie has a ton of thick curly hair and Tess has thinner, more wavy hair. When Kobie gets a fresh haircut, he looks like his fur is cut velvet. When we had a smaller poodle, we gave him a puppy cut - which made him look like a plush toy - very cute. But these two are way too active for a cut like that to last - and I'm way too lazy to try and keep it up!!

Sophie has been following me around a lot with all this packing. It's making her very nervous.
I can imagine - Mark travels a ton and when he starts packing for a trip, the dogs just mope. And if we're both leaving, they really get concerned. So a move would be pretty major.
